Happy Valentines Day email from a monk

February 15th, 2008 | Thomas | General | 2 Comments »

I thought I’d just share with you a wonderful Valentines Day email I just received from one of the Monks at our local temple in Chiang Mai – Wat Suan Dok. It also contained this rather pretty rose photo.

Dear my dearest friends

Valentines rosesWhat day is it today? Oh that is Valentines Day. I don’t know what does it mean. But someone tell me it is a Love Day. What love? Every love! That is good so I can send it to my beloved one.

How have you been? I hope you are doing well there. Are you alone now? No! You have many nice friends there, I hope. Or any way, I am with you all the times.

Thank for being my dearest friend!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

WISH YOU FRESH LIKE A ROSE EVERYDAY
WISH YOU MORE STRONGER EVERYDAY
WISH YOU SMARTER AND MORE CLEVER
WISH YOU WEALTHY AND HEALTHY
WISH YOU SUCCESSFUL IN EVERYTHING
WISH YOU BE MY DEAREST FRIEND FOREVER!!!

LOVE
XXXXX

Thats so sweet. The message does come through. Love is something that you give and get for free – well, you have to always forget the costs. To see real love, you must be in a constant state of amnesia.

    Hello Thomas

I just check your web last week and I saw my mail there. I felt surprise. I am happy to see that. I appreciate you. Good Luck.
