About Earthoria

Earthoria is a travel & ‘lifestyle’ blog produced by globetrotter Tina & webmaster Thomas living and working around the world.

We originally set up Earthoria in Thailand, where we met and where we both lived for years. During this time, Tina managed an HIV/AIDS campaign (Aidscarewatch.org), and Thomas initially volunteered with a Burma-related Human Rights group on the Burmese border, and later helped to set up a local web design and IT training organisation (www.bordermedia.org) to continue working in the same field.

Following some prompting from friends, we thought we’d set up the website to share some of our experiences with others. You can read a bit more information about our individual backgrounds here.

The main emphasis of Earthoria, and this website, is on living life to the fullest – but at the same time thinking of other people, and taking responsibility for our actions towards other creatures and the environment around us. We’ll be publishing blog posts, videos and podcasts about events & activities to make you happy; health, organic and vegetarian food, and travel. Please feel free to leave comments and advice to other people.
